a theory on men

i have this theory of sorts, but i think it has been proven wrong.  maybe i need to rethink it...

anyway, here it is:

men who say they are assholes, usually aren't

men who say they aren't assholes, usually are

i guess i don't have to rethink it--i use the word "usually" not "always".

so, i have known and dated several guys who would say they were assholes.  i think most of them just wanted to be assholes (don't know why).  i say most because in hind-sight some of them were the assholes they strived to be.  what is wrong with being a nice guy?  i've heard several guys say that girls don't go for the "nice guy".  why is that?  what's wrong with the "nice guy"?  (that's a whole 'nother blog post)

i have also known the arrogant, cocky guy who said he was a "nice guy" and not an asshole.  this guy too, turned out to be an asshole (hmm... brett...)

seems like a lot of guys i know are turning out to be assholes.

why is that?

is it me?

is it ALL men?

what is it?
