i'm still sad about the not getting that job, but today is a new day with new opportunities. i have applied for several jobs in pasadena isd. it's the district i first taught in, and i would love to get back in. today, two jobs came available at two different schools with principals i already know. i emailed both of them to let them know that i understand there is a process (i'm not asking for special treatment). i just wanted them to know that i would be on the list. one of them wrote right back and told me she is going to try to interview on thursday next week and if not then, on the following monday. so it sounds to me that i may get an interview. i know it's not a job, but an interview can lead to a job and that's a good thing. it opens the door, which is all i want to do.
