end of week randoms

just a few things to report...

* i am STILL looking for a job.  if you know of ANYTHING let me know.  i have computer skills, office skills, and customer service experience.  i also have the whole teaching thing in my pocket.  i would love to work for a company doing training.

* i officially have 5 people following my blog.  the rest of you who read it (you know who you are) should follow too.  it would be fun to know who is keeping up with my insanity.

* i wasn't going to write about this, but what the hell?  this can't be any worse than anything i've told ya'll in the past.  i applied and qualified for food stamps.  the process wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.  i was very organized and had everything they asked for.  since i'm making so little money right now i qualified right away and didn't have to wait.  i left the office yesterday with lonestar card in hand.

* went to use above mentioned lonestar card today.  turns out you need a pin number.  no one told me this.  i had no clue.  i'm new to all this assistance stuff.  so there i was in line at HEB with a bunch of people behind me trying to use this card.  i had to step out of line and get on the phone TWICE before my transaction could be completed.  it's bad enough that i had to go apply for assistance and use the lonestar card to begin with, but it was an ordeal at the store.  hopefully that never happens again.

* keep your eyes peeled--i have a new look coming soon!
