what have i gotten myself into? i've got a packed week with lots of plans. seriously, this isn't a bad thing. keeps me from just laying around the house, which is all i really ever do. not real exciting and gets kinda boring.
today i had lunch with a friend and her baby. alex went too. it was fun. nothing much else is planned for today, but i am going to cook dinner, which i don't do often because i'm usually too tired.
tomorrow i'm going to work in my extra bedroom and try to make it presentable. i've got help coming so we'll see how much we get done. then i have to work tomorrow nite.
wednesday i work in the morning and then i'm going speed dating at nite. don't worry, i will blog about this speed dating experience. it's something i've been wanting to do for a while, and i finally got the nerve to sign up. it's at a trendy houston bar so i have no idea what to wear. a friend is gonna come over and go through my closet to see if she can put together something.
thursday i work in the morning again. then in the evening alex and i are going to a birthday party of a friend i used to work with. i have only met one of her kids, so it will be neat to meet the other two. plus, alex is looking forward to it because it's at a bounce place.
friday i am having lunch with my cousin and then working at nite. i hate closing on friday nite, but it's not like i have anything better to do (unless i meet mr. right at speed dating).
finally, saturday i work in the morning and then have a party to go to for a very close friend. she has decided to move to austin, and i'm gonna miss her a lot. this party will be bitter-sweet.
next week might get crazy too because i may start off the week with an art class monday morning. i usually don't do art, but this is a leisure learning class that looks like a lot of fun.
anyway, waiting to see if it will rain here today. it didn't rain here yesterday, but today the storms on the doppler look like they may actually hit this area.
