i may stop doing mid-week randoms because i will usually be working at the store on wednesday nights. i think i'll switch over to sunday night randoms and sum up my week before beginning a new one. whatcha think?
* i had a $700 sale at the store yesterday! i was having a so-so day. i was stressing over making my goals and having good stats (the goals were super high yesterday). in walks this lady, and without batting an eye, she dropped $700. lucky me! :)
* i am not sure, but i think the AC at the house is getting ready to go out. last night it got really hot in here (over 80 degrees). i went outside and the unit wasn't even on. the fan inside was blowing, but nothing was happening from the unit. it was hard to sleep. i debated waking up alex and going to my parent's house at 11pm. finally i fell asleep and when i woke up it was cold in here. it was a miracle! the AC was working. not sure what happened...
* i really am enjoying my job. it's hard getting up in the morning. i'm worn out by the end of the day. it's hard to keep moving constantly, which is what these kids need. but all that aside, i'm very happy with my decision to take this job. the people i work with are all nice, and the kids keep telling me how much they like school. i'm going to implement a behavior management plan this week to help with the minor problems i am having. the good thing about all this? i'm getting my confidence back! :) i can do this!!!
* M and i went bowling on friday nite. i managed to win a game this time! :) the 3rd game was SO close. he won by 2 points. next time i will dominate! :oP
* speaking of M, he brought me flowers again this week. this time it was a dozen pink roses. i told him he is spoiling me and setting the expectation bar really high. i could get too used to all these flowers... ha ha! it's sweet though, and i love to lay on my couch and look at them. :)
* this week my mom turns 60! we celebrated this afternoon, but i offered to have dinner with her on her actual birthday. she didn't seem too sure about it, so we shall see.
