i took the advice of a close friend and just asked M the questions that i felt i should know the answers to. it wasn't as painful as i thought it would be and i actually found out a little more than i asked. so for those of you who are wondering, M is 41 years old and has never been married. the other information i'm gonna keep private. i'm glad i asked though and i'm glad my friend encouraged me (thanks rhonda!).
on a side note, i got to work in my classroom today. i feel really good about what i accomplished, but there is still so much to do. i can't get back out there until thursday, so i'm a little nervous, but i'm optimistic. the building still isn't finished, but it seems like people are there working trying to get it done. we shall see...
