sorry for two posts in one day, but this is too good not to post!

alex's grade level (2nd) has a shabbat service/play coming up at his school next friday night. we got a list last week of costumes. they are simple, nothing fancy, but i didn't know what one of the things he needs was. he needs a black t-shirt and a black bowler hat. what is a bowler hat? i've been meaning to ask somone...

no need! i got the answer from alex today.

alex: a bowler hat is a hat from the 20s

me: ok

alex: so i'll need to go back in time to get one

me: (laughing) you can't go back in time. we'll just go to party city.


so cute! he wants to time travel to get what he needs. if only that was possible...
