so the guy that i met, the one i had the great date with lives in two places. during the week he lives in west columbia where he works. on the weekends he lives up in the houston area. i am like, ok, cool. so i know he can only do things on weekends. i see nothing suspicious.
well, today i had two separate people tell me that maybe he has two lives and really has a wife and family down there. OMG! this never crossed my mind. is it because i'm naiive or is it because i'm not as jaded as other people? should i be worried? should i ask, "do you have a family down there?"
wtf? just when i said i wasn't going to freak out and i was gonna have fun with this one...

I would definitely NOT ask him if he had a family. I think your friends are way too jaded. I would just enjoy the time you spend with him and talk to him. If he hasn't given you any reason not to believe him or trust him then it's unfair to put your insecurities and those of your friends on him.
