i have returned

hello blog land! oh how i've missed thee. i'm returning minus one guy, but with a whole lot of new perspective. the guy situation sucks and really pissed me off, but as each day goes on, i'm less pissed and just getting over it. i know it's not worth it to waste energy on someone who would just disappear like that, but that's what pissed me off. you have common courtesy to tell someone, "I don't want to see you anymore." it wasn't a one-night stand. we saw each other for 4 months. so him not wanting to see me isn't what pissed me off (yes it hurt), but the fact that he didn't have the balls to say anything was fucked up. never expected that from him--he seemed so nice. oh well...

since i wrote last i have turned 35 (GASP!). the birthday hit me hard, but it turned out not to be as bad as i was expecting. i felt the facebook love on my actual birthday (the 11th) and then had a pretty cool party on the 14th. it was a "pretty & pink" party, and everyone had to wear some pink. here is a picture of me (my pink was my jewelry)--loved my party dress!

after a wonderful weekend, i came down with a horrible cold and had a rough week. once that fever broke wednesday nite, i felt so much better. i'm on the mend now. just have a terrible cough, but it's better than the feverish, sluggish feeling.

anyway, not much to report. i will resume a some-what regular blogging schedule (it's totally random, but you will be hearing from me). thanks for sticking around and waiting for my hiatus to be over...
