opportunities

(sorry for two posts in one day--this is the post i originally planned to do before i saw that movie and had to comment on it)

so i've got a couple of updates to share about my life!

first on the job front. it's not a lot of news, but i have an interview with prudential financial services next tuesday. i'm not sure what kind of financial advisor i'd be (don't laugh at me), but i'm exploring all my options. i also wrote an awesome cover letter for a job at san jacinto college last night. it's for an instructional designer position. i bet a bunch of people more qualified than me apply, but i did write a damn good letter! also, jewish family services is offering classes on how to look for a job. i'm attending those on monday nites. who knows who i'll meet there?

second, my personal life. i'm kinda excited to share that i'm talking to this guy from jdate that i talked to years ago. it's funny, we talked about meeting, but never did. then he wasn't single. then i was back with brett. then i was single and he wasn't. then he was single and i was with brett. anyway, we're both single now. we talked on the phone last nite and plan to meet next weekend for drinks or coffee or something. don't worry, i'm not putting all my eggs in one basket, but this could possibly lead to something. if we've been interested in meeting each other this long...
