fall is here!

today is a beautiful day! i got out my halloween and fall decorations and started putting them all over the house. Here is what I did on the kitchen table. there are halloween place mats, but in the center i put the 3 leaf candle holders (which i don't have candles for) and the pumpkin candle holder (which is currently lit with a very yummy spelling pumpkin candle).



a few years ago i went shopping the day after halloween and got a lot of stuff on sale. i still have those old bags you stuff with newspaper and put in the yard. here you see what i did to my magnolia tree---two jack-o'lantern bags and six ghosts in the tree. i know they have super cute stuff for yards now and my stuff is a little dated, but i still like the way it came out.



i love having a house to decorate!
