my 3rd choice

i'm not so sure about my 3rd choice in MFA programs. i only applied because they kept sending me stuff and i got a fortune cookie that said not to put all my eggs in one basket. the school is Naropa University in Boulder, CO. it's a little different--it has a buddhist background and incorportates personal meditation and growth into the degree program. this is the part i don't know if i can buy into. i'm not buddhist for one... two, although the teachings sound like good ideas for personal growth for anyone (buddhist or not) i'm not sure if i can believe in them. i thought i could explain it, but i'm at a loss for words right now. i'm not making sense...

i am just not sure i really want to go to this school, but yet i applied and paid my application fee. i dont' know if i'd go to school there, even if that is the only place i get into. it's just a different way of thinking and although i wrote an essay about how i was open to this different way of thinking and that it would be good for me, i'm not sure if i really meant it.
